Dr. Apoorva is a distinguished professional with over a decade of experience in medical education, public health, and clinical practice. As the Advisor for the iLEAP Programme at Pahle India Foundation, she coordinates initiatives to combat lead poisoning in the northeastern states of India, specifically Meghalaya and Assam.

With a robust academic foundation, including an MD in Anatomy and multiple postgraduate certifications in Family Medicine from CMC, Vellore and Epidemiology from IIPH, Dr. Apoorva has published over 20 research papers focusing on medical education and basic human anatomy sciences. Her teaching tenure of more than five years spans undergraduate medical, dental, and allied health science students.

Dr. Apoorva’s practical experience is equally commendable, having served for over five years in the northeastern region under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. She has spearheaded numerous public health projects, including maternal and child health programs, adolescent health interventions, and substance abuse reduction missions, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to advance health indicators in Meghalaya.
