Dr. Aishwary Kant Gupta holds a Ph.D. from TERI School of Advanced Research Studies, New Delhi, with a research focus on the economic analysis of Non-Tariff Measures in international trade. He has published research papers in Foreign Trade Review and Journal of International Commerce, Economic and Policy, and has also written articles in newspapers such as the Business Standard.

Previously, Aishwary has worked with the Center for WTO Studies, under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where he assisted India’s Chief Negotiator for the India – European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) in goods and investment chapter. Following the successful conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Aishwary was appointed as a consultant at APEDA (Agriculture and Processed Food Export Development Authority), where he played a key role in developing strategies to diversify India’s agricultural export basket.
