Dr Megha Jain is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Shyam Lal College (M), University of Delhi. She is awarded her PhD from FMS Delhi in the year 2022 in the area of Development Economics (Sustainability, Climate Change and Economic Development). She has done Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi in 2003 and MBA in Finance from FMS Delhi in 2005. She has served as a resource person to many of the workshops, FDPs and SDPs. She has organised several events during the last year of her academic pursuit.
She has been bestowed by many felicitations and accolades on a meritorious basis till now. She has served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce, Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi from July 2017 to Mar 2023. She has published several papers and articles in Scopus-indexed ABDC-listed journals. She has recently completed her first ICSSR project in the area of informal manufacturing and is currently in pursuit of a major project in the area of handlooms and handicrafts in J&K. She has assisted ADB as a TA in the area of Green Bond Loan verification and issuance for Mongolia.
She has presented research papers at several national and international conferences, including IITs, IIMs, IIFT, IGIDR, Indian Econometrics Society and is the recipient of the ‘Best Paper Award’ at various such forums. Her areas of interest include Sustainalytics, Climate Stress Testing, Financial Modeling, and Climate Finance.
