Pragati is a PhD graduate in Economics from IIM Bangalore, with research expertise in Labor Economics, Health Economics, and Applied Econometrics, and a strong focus on human capital investments. She specializes in quasi-experimental methods and stochastic frontier modeling. Her research has been selected for presentation at several leading international conferences. She was selected as one of three fellows globally for the Global Labor Organization (GLO) Virtual Young Scholars Program (2022–23). Pragati has been academically associated with multiple business schools, including IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IMT Ghaziabad, and Mesa School of Business. She has also contributed to research projects for the University of Delhi and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
