She further enriched her global perspective through a prestigious international internship with Gustave Eiffel University, France, where she conducted comparative field surveys in Malawi and India—enhancing her understanding of global agri-economic systems and rural livelihoods.
Her core areas of interest include sustainable agriculture, agri-value chains, rural development, agricultural policy analysis, food security, and farm-level decision-making. Riya is committed to translating research into practical solutions that support resilient agricultural systems and inclusive economic growth.
