Dr. Sayoudh Roy is an Associate Fellow at Pahle India Foundation. He has a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from Ohio State University (USA) with a focus on the macroeconomics of labor markets and the impact of financial frictions. He also has an M.S. degree in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. He has previously written or contributed to papers on the revenue policies of application platforms, regulation in the context of cloud computing, as well as financing of the United Payments Interface. Additionally he has taught as an Adjunct Lecturer at Bowling Green State University (USA), and as an Independent Instructor at Ohio State University. His interests cover the role of policy in supporting manufacturing growth and employment, and topics at the intersection of technology and the economy.
