Dr. Yadavindu Ajit is an economist with a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai and M.A in Development Studies from TISS Mumbai. His research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics, monetary economics, applied econometrics, and policy-relevant issues in emerging economies, with a particular focus on inflation dynamics and non-bank financial institutions. He has experience in empirical research, data management, literature review, and econometric analysis using time-series and panel-data methods, along with strong proficiency in R, Stata, EViews, and related research tools. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics & Econometrics and Emerging Markets Review, and he has also contributed to research projects at the Asian Development Bank Institute, Tokyo, on the growth, regulation, and systemic risk of NBFIs in Asia.
