Dr. Mukesh Kumar is an Economist with a PhD in development economics from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His research interest lies at the intersection of public health, human development, gender, and program utilisation. He has published papers(s) in leading journals i.e. Economic and Political Weekly, Journal of Water Sanitation and Hygiene for Development, Journal of Nutritional Science, PLoS ONE, and Indian Journal of Human Development. He also contributed to the Asian Development Bank’s book on Nutrition and Public Health in Asia: Challenges, Interventions, and Policy Responses. He is serving as a Co-Project Director to an ICSSR funded project. Previously, Kumar has worked as Research Associate with VII State Finance Commission of Haryana.
