Omkar Parab holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, where he specialized in econometrics and quantitative economic analysis.
Prior to joining the Pahle India Foundation, he served as an Accounts Officer/Enforcement Officer at the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), contributing to grievance management, public outreach, and process improvement initiatives. His professional experience spans economic research, policy evaluation, and data-driven decision-making with think tanks like Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy, and Mumbai First Foundation, focusing on health, education, urban governance, and public finance.
His areas of interest include econometrics, quantitative finance, impact evaluation, applied microeconomics, and evidence-based policymaking, with a focus on translating complex data into actionable insights.
