Diwakar Kumar is a development sector professional with experience in public policy, governance, and programme implementation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University and a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

He has worked with community-based organisations, state departments, and central ministries in different capacities on projects related to livelihoods, climate-resilient agriculture, social justice, welfare delivery, and digital governance. His areas of interest include public policy, rural livelihoods, the SDGs, government advisory, climate and sustainability, digital inclusion, and strengthening last-mile service delivery systems.
