R.G.Chandramogan is the founder of Hatsun group. He started as an entrepreneur at the age of 21 with a meager capital after discontinuing his education due to family circumstances.

Today he runs the largest private corporate dairy in the country. Brands Arun, Arokya, & Hatsun are the brand leaders of the country in ice creams, milk, & curd among the non-cooperative dairies of India. Ibaco in the premium category is also a well respected brand.

He has written two management articles in Anandavikadan, leading Tamil weekly for a period of 26 weeks each which were published as a book later in Tamil.

IIM-A wrote a case study of Arun ice creams & he is a visiting faculty of IIM Ahmedabad. He has served as a member of planning commission in animal husbandry & also in secondary agriculture for a brief period. He also served as a director of City Union bank for 16 years.

He established bank direct payment to more than 4 Lakh farmers for their supply of milk as a pioneer much before demonetization efforts of the Government to ensure transparency, helping farmers as privileged customers of the bank, not as farmer who look for a waiver after getting a bank loan. He worked with Coimbatore Agricultural University to promote Co3 to Co5 crops to help farmers bring cost reduction and efficiency in agriculture.

Hatsun collects more than 3 million litres of milk from 11000 + centers in 5 states, running 20 factories in different locations. The dairy employs 11000 people and exports milk products to more than 36 countries.

As a responsible corporate citizen Shri Chandramogan promoted a badminton center of excellence, Tennikoit academy as well as a Chess academy in Tiruthangal to produce world class players of the future.
