Sakshi is a Public Policy professional with diverse experiences, in that she has consulted with the ex-MoS Home and MP, Shri Hansraj Ahir; worked with government bodies like TRIFED & National Commission for Protection of Child Rights and international development agencies like the German Development Corporation.

Drawing from her education at St. Stephens College and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she has worked both on the ground and on-desk research projects. She actively writes for newspapers in India. She seeks to continue her engagement in this sphere by securing a PhD in Development Research under a DAAD-funded project in Germany. Her thesis is on the ‘Enhancement of tribal livelihood through trade of forest goods’. She will be working in the tribal belt of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh alongside government bodies in Delhi as a part of her PhD.
