The fourth seminar of the NSEPIF Financial Sector Policy Series was organised in Mumbai on 21st September 2022. The topic for this discussion was “Role of Good Governance in a 5 trillion Economy: 5 years post Kotak Committee”. The Introductory Remarks were made by Dr Tirthankar Patnaik, Chief Economist, National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE).
The session was chaired and moderated by Dr Rajiv Kumar, Chairman, Pahle India Foundation and erstwhile Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog. The seminar discussants were Mr. Pradeep Ramakrishnan, General Manager, Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mr. Prerak Ved, Partner, AZB & Partners, Mr. Amit Tandon, Managing Director, Institutional Investor Advisory Services (IIAS) and Mr. Somasekhar Sundaresan, Counsel.
Ms Nirupama Soundararajan, CEO, Pahle India Foundation summarised the outcomes of the discussion and made the concluding remarks. The discussion was attended by financial sector regulators, lawyers, financial experts, corporates, academia and ESG professionals.
