The 8th seminar in the NSE-PIF Financial Sector Policy Series was held in Mumbai on Thursday, June 1, 2023 between 2 PM and 4 PM on the topic ‘Social Stock Exchange-The Way Forward’.
The session saw participation by over 30 individuals from various walks of life.
It was chaired by Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Chairman of Pahle India Foundation and Former Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog.
Panellists included Ms. Rachana Bhusari, Vice President and Head-Social Stock Exchange and Investor Awareness Initiatives at NSE; Prof. Shalini Bharat, Vice Chancellor at Tata Institute of Social Sciences; Ms. Gayatri Nair Lobo, Chief Operating Officer at ATE Chandra Foundation and Mr. Ravi Pokharna, Executive Director at Pahle India Foundation.
The chair and panellists shared their insights on the SSE, its working, benefits, challenges etc. followed by a lively Q&A session with the participants.
