On 19 February 2026, PIF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), through its Division of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry—one of the country’s premier institutions for agricultural research and higher studies. The MoU, signed for a period of one year, marks the beginning of a strategic research collaboration focused on advancing knowledge at the intersection of health and nutrition. This partnership is envisioned as a foundational step toward broader interdisciplinary research under the One Health framework—an integrated approach that brings together environment, agriculture, livestock, and human health under a unified lens. By aligning soil health, food systems, and nutritional outcomes, the collaboration aims to generate evidence that strengthens sustainable and resilient public health pathways.
The occasion was a prestigious and defining milestone for PIF, reinforcing its expanding research advocacy in health and food systems. It reflects PIF’s growing commitment to fostering institutional partnerships that bridge science, policy, and practice.
This partnership not only represents a moment of pride for PIF but also signals the beginning of a long-term academic and research engagement dedicated to strengthening health, agriculture, and nutrition systems in an integrated and sustainable manner.
