Pahle India Foundation (PIF) was honored to host an interactive session at its Delhi office on 11 June, 2025, with Dr R. Balasubramaniam, Member – Human Resource, Capacity Building Commission. Speaking on the challenges and opportunities in the Indian policy ecosystem, Dr Balu, as he is popularly known, provided the PIF faculty and team of researchers much to think about with his deep insights on the connection between policymaking and people’s welfare. With his trademark wit and flair – and drawing on his own life experiences – Dr Balu’s passionate advocacy for creating effective, transparent governance systems shone through.
