Inspiration: The founding of Pahlé India Foundation (PIF) was inspired by a commitment to “Putting India First to Make India First.” The core motivation was to fill the urgent gap in India’s public policy ecosystem by establishing a homegrown, world-class think tank dedicated to rigorous, evidence-based analysis rooted in Indian realities. Dr. Rajiv Kumar, the founder, envisioned a platform that could not only provide timely inputs to policy formulation but also foster candid, trust-based dialogue between government, industry, academia, and civil society for enriching India’s developmental narrative.
